Something unusual  is occurring on the Sun. The  unusual spike in the Kp index, was noted as an increased earthquake activity to occur within March 30th 2005. Dr. Paal Brekke, Deputy Director of the SOHO project and stationed at NASA/Goddard Space Center, was asked by Mitch Battros – ECTV if there could be a connection. His answer matched what Mitch Battros had reported in his news letter in two or three articles posted earlier this month. “At this time there is no data or current research which connects such events”. Mitch Battros would agree in full, however, he and others are suspect there may be some unknown phenomena we just have not yet embraced.
